| Transcript | Willis Tuesday Feby 25th. / 79 My Dear Son This morning, Doct. Miller Woodson of this place sent a dollar to me with a request that I would procure for him, through you, some of the Neuralgia Pills, as he is now suffering very much from that terri- ble disease. Will you get them & address them to him as in the Golding case and oblige both him & myself, al- -though he is a perfect stranger to me. I was surprised at his asking such a favor, Not that I care for myself, but fear I may be giving you trouble on account of my very obliging dis- -position. Be that as it may please send the to him. Gaston was here last evening and told me of your hav- ing a severe cold, I trust it may ------------------------------------------------- not be anything serious. Though the fatality of Pneumonia cases the fast winter should make one more careful when taking cold. I find my cough is worse with every little cold I take no matter form what cause I contract it. Elliot is now laid up from tooth ache, or rather from his face being all swelled up. I wrote to Sam again yester- day in reply to a letter of the 16th and an invitation to the commencement &c &c He sent me an admirable likeness of himself Affectionately Your Mother Mary Jones |
