| Transcript | March 13th, /75 Saturday Morning Dear Crommy Last evening your note of the 6th Inst with Sallies enclosed reached me, no doubt it had been here several days. Sam went over to Mr Sydnors place last Monday morning & will not retrun until this evening so had no one to go to the Post Office. I am still at Mrs Ropers, have not gone down to the old place owing to bad weather & Sams having so much work to do just at this time, as such a press for work does not come often and may not last long he is anx -ious to make the most of it. So I am waiting - until he can take me down I want to come up next Sunday that is tomorrow week but may be de- layed still longer. Let Sallie know this as my eyes are too weak to write much. I wrote you last week and requested you to send me ten dol. have not yet received it may get it today as Mrs Roper is going to town some time during the day --------------------------------------------- I am determined if it is possible to send up So the things by tomorrows Boat A letter came form Sallie last evening to Sam I will hear something later from her. Mrs Roper requests me to say to you that she wishes to see you on particular business & to be sure and to come out & see her. she does not like to write it as she can make some explinations & better than she could write them Elliot & I keep well As ever you loving Mother Mary Jones My love to Mrs Ashe & family I am so tired of living around feel anxious to get settled once more |
