| Transcript | Willis Friday Oct 23rd./74 Dear Crommie Yours of the 21st at hand, the seed came the day before you letter and are nearly all planted Your urgent invitation has somewhat changed my purpose. I will adopt your suggestion & come down while the weather is pleasent Look for me tomorow evening on the freight train as I can -not well be up at night to in the cold and alone I enclose you a better from Mr McMillan he is the man who farmed on Mr. Gaillards place some four years since or thereabouts, I replied today to his letter saying that I would see you tomorrow & immediately write him definitely in regard to the subject of selling & or renting for the coming year. Gaston will be here tomorrow we have not seen him since you were here all are well. Let Mrs Ashe know I am coming down tomorrow evening As ever affectionately thy Mother Mary Jones |
