He had been a strong opponent of women's suffrage but he changed his mind after the results of the National Election and the Democratic victory led him to reconsider the question.He weighed the good with the bad and found the benefits outdistanced any evil effects tand thus now endorses suffrage in Texas and elsewhere. Mr Lattimore introduced a Senate bill providing women the right to vote in all primary elections.
