| Creator | Cunningham, Minnie Fisher, 1882-1964
|
| Description | Typed manuscript recalls the business arrangement they had to supply food and produce to railroad customers; at first the railroad would stop at the farm itself, later packages of goods were picked up at New Waverly station. The manuscript also details the arrangement her father made to pay for the passage of several Polish families to work on the farm as hired help, thus paying back their passage in farm labor. She also recalls how her father would sometimes go into debt to help another person in need. |
