| Title | Letter to Presidents and Accompanying Documents |
| Description | This is a typewritten letter from the President Carrie Chapman Catt to the presidents of the state suffrage association affiliates. Carrie Chapman Catt discusses in her letter a document called the Note (enclosed with the letter), which discusses the gathering of the suffrage organization due to the impending war and the guidelines they've compiled to help deal with the upcoming war crises. The Note's guidelines ask for the creation of a central committee with representatives from each local suffrage chapter who will aid in war work if need be as well as other issues like Americanization and establishing employment bureaus for women. The last two pages list all the suffrage organizations officers and members who attended the executive council meetings. |
