TitleObituary (memorial service program) for Fat Pat
DescriptionFat Pat, whose given name was Patrick Lamark Hawkins, was expected by many in Houston to break out nationally as a rapper. On February 3, 1998, he went to an apartment in Southwest Houston where an Austin concert promoter was staying. There, Hawkins was shot to death, only a month before the release of his first album "Ghetto Dreams." He was 27 years old.
